"Oh." She looked bewildered.
Wyatt withdrew his hand and walked ahead, on the outside.
Once they had left the hospital's main entrance, he left her at the door, "Wait for me here."
Rae obediently agreed, "Okay."
Wyatt's car was parked across the street. He had changed cars; this one was unassuming in model, spacious, and its color... quite dirt-resistant; it didn't look like the type a young person would prefer.
Rae opened the passenger door, settled down, and fastened her seatbelt. "Did you send your red car for a paint job?"
"Yeah." The traffic at the intersection was quite heavy, moving extraordinarily slow. Wyatt added, "Miss Watson said you claimed too much for car repairs."
She had indeed claimed a lot on purpose.
Doghead said, financial strength is also an attraction, and you should show it off when it's time to do so.
"It's fine." Rae smiled modestly and shyly, "Don't worry, I have some assets."
