Wyatt Wright and Rae Bennett returned to the hotel as the sun began to set. The sky was ablaze with large swaths of orange-red clouds that hovered over the verdant mountain peaks. Nearby, the sky remained blue and the clouds white, with all the distinct colors merging together without any sense of discord.
The evening beauty of Vigalanka resembled a vivid oil painting.
Cole Rodriguez had been waiting in the lobby for quite some time.
"Young Master Nine."
Cole looked tense and glanced at Rae unconsciously. With some considerations in mind, he spoke in the local language, "An accident has occurred."
Though Rae did not understand, she could still sense that the atmosphere was amiss.
"Give me a few minutes," Wyatt said to Cole before taking the elevator first.
He escorted Rae back to her room, "I have some matters to attend to, and I might not be able to make it back in time to have dinner with you. If you're hungry, just order room service; don't wait for me."
