Rae Bennett stayed still, "What's wrong?"
"Thank goodness you're alright."
His grip on her tightened.
Every time after a scare, what followed was the relief of getting back what was lost, and a lingering fright.
Rae obediently let him hold her.
Only when he had calmed down did she speak, "There's something I forgot to tell you."
Wyatt Wright asked what it was.
"Clement Atkins mentioned someone during the negotiation with Vigalanka; she must be important to Vigalanka. Her name is Miya Ford, but I don't know if it's the same Miya Ford from our residential area."
"I'll have someone look into it when we get back."
"Clement Atkins and Vigalanka—"
Wyatt Wright suddenly interrupted, "Don't talk about him."
He frowned, preoccupied.
Rae thought it was work-related, "You don't want to talk about Vigalanka?"
"Don't mention Clement Atkins."
She didn't catch on.
Wyatt Wright, hugging her waist and tightening his hold, said, "Rae, haven't you noticed? He has designs on you."
