After the meeting, Harper Bennett chased after her.
"Rae."
Rae Bennett slowed her pace.
Harper Bennett walked up beside her, "Don't be mad at Grandpa. Since you were always away from the company and no one was helping to share his burden, that's why he considered me."
Rae Bennett showed an indifferent attitude, "I'm not mad."
"Good to hear you're not mad," Harper Bennett seemed to be in a good mood, smiling as she said, "Rae, welcome back."
How should she respond to that?
Rae Bennett: "Oh."
Harper Bennett didn't mind her coldness, drawing closer to whisper, "Thank you for helping my mom."
Rae Bennett feigned surprise, "Not me, I didn't, don't talk nonsense."
Harper Bennett just smiled without speaking.
Rae Bennett couldn't be bothered with her, turning to the lady who had just stopped her, "You're Layla, right?"
Layla replied with trepidation, "Yes, CEO Bennett."
"Could you give me a tour? I'd like to meet everyone."
"Of course, CEO Bennett."
