Rae Bennett was stopped again, outside the meeting room.
"Miss, please stay a moment."
Rae Bennett had no choice but to stop.
A young lady came over: "May I ask who you're looking for?"
"No one in particular."
The lady who stopped Rae Bennett was an employee from the group's administrative department, named Layla.
She explained: "I'm sorry, but the Board of Directors is in session inside, and non-related personnel cannot enter at this time."
Just then, a related person arrived.
"Layla."
It was a gentleman.
Layla addressed him as: "CEO Lee."
Rae Bennett recognized this CEO Lee, having met him a few years ago at the annual meeting. His name was Leo Lee, the head of the group's Eastern overseas district, in his early thirties, and quite capable and successful.
He nodded at Rae Bennett and turned to scold Layla: "What's the matter with you, how could you not recognize the young master?"
Layla had not been with the company long and had not yet got to know everyone.
