Sir Blackwood almost spilled his coffee.
He took a napkin and wiped his hands, "So, my 4392 simply ended up in your pocket for nothing?"
Before Wyatt Wright answered, he first asked Rae Bennett, "Didn't you pay?"
"I did."
Wyatt refuted Sir Blackwood with calm composure, "With payment made, there's nothing 'for nothing' about it."
Truly a case of husband and wife acting in concert.
Sir Blackwood gave up arguing, "I can't win against you." He asked Wyatt, "Do you want some coffee?"
"Mm."
Sir Blackwood went to get a cup.
Wyatt told Rae, "Sit here for a while." He stood up and headed to the kitchen.
Sir Blackwood brewed excellent tea and also made great coffee. He was running the tap to wash some cups.
Wyatt stood in the doorway, "She likes it sweet, add more sugar for her."
Sir Blackwood took a jar of sugar cubes from the cupboard, continuing to wash his cups, "You have good taste."
Wyatt replied, "Thanks."
