"Gunshots."
She was just a girl, yet she remained calm upon hearing gunshots.
"Everyone in the tent, listen up." Another gunshot rang out from outside the tent, and a rough male voice followed, with echoes, "Raise your hands and come out immediately."
Yun, with a backpack on, was the first to go out, followed by Levi Wright.
It was very bright outside; the high-powered flashlights were blinding. Around the tent, a group of about twenty men had gathered, all armed with guns, looking fierce, wearing head coverings – clearly desperate outlaws.
One by one, the students all came out; they were quite frightened by the sight that awaited them.
There were four teachers leading the group, and originally there had been one male teacher, but he had gone down the mountain earlier due to feeling unwell, leaving only female teachers behind.
One of the female teachers stepped forward and asked the man in charge, "Who are you people?"
The man pointed his gun at her.
