Rae Bennett picked it up; it was a piece of cotton candy. She held it in her hand and smiled.
Wyatt Wright came out, "Let's go."
"Did you stamp it?"
"Mmm."
"Let me see it."
Wyatt handed her the booklet.
Rae opened to the first page, where two orphanage seals were stamped, next to which was a toy stamp of a child's.
"Why is there also a Little Lion?"
"I stamped it."
The blue Little Lion stamp next to the big red official seal had a contrasting, out-of-place cuteness.
Rae really liked it and hugged the booklet, looking at it over and over, "Why did you stamp a Little Lion for me?"
Wyatt said, "To praise you."
Her eyes shone brightly, filled with happiness. Her family's Wyatt now had to be both a father and a teacher.
The car stopped outside the orphanage; there was a stretch of road to walk. Tonight there was no wind, the night was very quiet, and Wyatt held Rae's hand as they walked on the uneven path.
