Rae Bennett could no longer listen; once the argument erupted, negative emotions gradually began to overwhelm her reason.
"Even if your being with me has nothing to do with Alfie Young," she shed her submissive exterior, turning back into a sharp-toothed, sharp-clawed lioness, "what about these seven years for me?"
