The rescue was successful, all twelve hostages were unharmed.
SWAT officers entered, dragged Lance Lockett's body out, and then evacuated the hostages.
Wyatt Wright stepped past Clement Atkins to approach Rae Bennett.
"Are you hurt?"
She shook her head, her body, tense for so long, belatedly felt weak.
Wyatt Wright let out a sigh of relief. His heart that had been hanging in the air finally landed. He extended his hand and gently touched the red mark left by the gun barrel on Rae Bennett's neck, "Does it hurt?"
Rae Bennett still had red around her eyes, "It doesn't hurt."
Her emotions were in turmoil, her heart couldn't calm down, filled with many doubts and a series of frights.
Lockett was very skilled, strong and fast. Even she, trained in judo and Sanda, couldn't find a single opening. With Lockett still armed, confronting Wyatt Wright, she didn't gain any advantage.
It seemed she had underestimated Wyatt Wright.
"Rae, you go back first."
"And you?"
