In the middle of the night, Wyatt Wright received a call from an unknown number.
"Hello?"
"Good evening, Mr. Wyatt," the caller introduced themselves, "this is Liam Collins."
Wyatt responded, "Good evening."
The computer on his desk was on, displaying emails in foreign languages. Wyatt put his phone on speaker and placed it on the desk, continuing to reply to the emails while typing quietly. The sound was faint, but in the dead of night, the tapping of the keyboard was faintly audible.
Liam Collins was very polite on the phone, and his tone could even be described as respectful: "I'm very sorry to disturb you at this late hour."
"Is there something you need?"
"About my son..." Liam Collins hesitated, finding it difficult to begin.
Wyatt spoke in a calm voice, "If legal proceedings are required, I will cooperate."
"No, no, no, we won't go through legal proceedings."
