Rae Bennett picked up the cane and glanced at Xavier Allen's left foot wrapped in a plaster cast: "The rule is simple, pay back what you owe, take the beating you deserve."
She swung the cane and smashed it down forcefully.
"Ahhh—"
Xavier Allen clutched his foot and screamed, looking up, as the cane suddenly stopped beside his mouth.
"Shh." The girl's hair was tied back loosely, a strand brushed against her eyelid in the breeze, she blew it away, "Keep it down."
Xavier Allen instinctively shut his mouth.
Rae raised her hand and struck again. Xavier Allen cried out in agony, curling up on the ground, nearly passing out from the pain.
She dropped the cane, squatted down, and poked Xavier Allen's foot with a finger: Good, it's broken.
"Now we don't have to fake the medical records."
Xavier Allen, sweating profusely from the pain, glared at Rae Bennett: "Just you wait, this isn't over between us!"
"Okay, I'll wait."
