Rae Bennett liked to give Wyatt Wright gifts; there was a room in the villa filled with lenses and cameras she had given him.
She asked Wyatt what else he liked, and he said mountains, rivers, stars, sunrises.
So, she found a jade carving master, hoping to engrave the scenery of the entire world and give it to Wyatt.
Wyatt would take her out for fun, photograph her in the sunset, compliment her beauty, and when she fell ill and refused to take medicine, he would coax her, saying, "Our Rae needs to be obedient."
She thought they would always stay that great until Grandma Spencer passed away.
Grandma Spencer was old and didn't survive the organ transplant rejection. Most worried about Wyatt, she clutched his hand with her dying breath, urging him to live well and not to follow his father's path.
Rae had never heard Wyatt mention his father.
The funeral was held in River Source Town. Grandma Spencer had no other relatives, so the mourners who came were all from Wright Village.
