Rae Bennett recognized the incoming number; she had looked up Averi Rivera's information before and remembered her number.
Wyatt came over with a cup in hand, "Drink the medicine."
Rae took her gaze off her phone and took the cup, "Your phone rang."
He picked up his phone and glanced at the incoming call.
Rae asked casually, "Who is it?"
"Some number I don't recognize," Wyatt didn't answer the call, "Drink the medicine first."
"Oh."
Rae lowered her head, quietly sipping the medicine, her long, dense eyelashes drooping, hiding the turmoil in her eyes.
Miss Watson called out from the kitchen, "The meal is warmed up; come and eat."
After dinner, it was already past nine when Wyatt escorted Rae to the nineteenth floor.
He didn't enter, just stood at the door, "You haven't fully recovered from your cold, don't stay up late tonight, get some sleep early."
Rae sniffed, her voice nasal due to her blocked nose, "Okay."
"Then, I'm heading back."
