The school bully didn't take Rae Bennett seriously, seeing just a young girl, and yelled at his lackeys, "What are you waiting for? Hit him!"
One of the young punks immediately swung his fist and lunged forward.
Juan Morris, a bully in his own right, wasn't about to show weakness. He glared with wide eyes and didn't even blink. The anticipated punch never landed on his face; instead, he saw the young punk suddenly clutching his hand, howling in pain as a stone rolled onto the ground.
It was Rae Bennett who had thrown it, hitting the young punk's fist dead on.
The school bully cursed loudly and led his lackeys to attack Rae Bennett instead. Juan Morris, with his not-so-bright brain, wondered whether to call the police but then saw Rae Bennett pick up a stick and, with the first strike, crack the school bully's head.
