"I said, can you lay back down? Your aunt has called asking about you. If you mess around here, my dad would break my legs" Edward Brown rubbed his forehead helplessly.
Caleb Baker remained silent.
A subtle taste of bitterness filled his heart, a suffocating feeling pressing in his chest. An intuition told him that something wasn't quite right.
"Give me your car keys." He put away his phone and roughly pulled out the needle from his hand. The intrusion point started bleeding slightly.
"What are you doing? I just changed your medicine, it costs over 300,000 for this small vial, damn it!" Edward was surprised.
"Enough with the chatter."
A gloomy frown appeared on Caleb's face.
Those eyes, dark and deep like the cliffs, refusing to let any light in.
Edward was taken aback, his face darkening, "What happened? I'll drive you."
Caleb didn't respond. He just grabbed his coat and headed out.
Edward cursed under his breath.
That life-risking lunatic!
