Seeing Yvonne Finley lost in thought as she watched the apple cider, a different emotion flashed in Gordon William's eyes, which quickly disappeared.
He said, "If you don't like it, I can get you something else."
Yvonne Finley shook her head and accepted it. "I'm used to it."
"I just didn't expect you to like these."
Throughout the conversation, Gordon William remained calm. Though fifty years old, his posture and appearance seemed extremely favoured by god, showing the extraordinary charm he must have had in his youth, but his personality was quite reserved.
"Children love it, so I've been making it for myself all these years."
"Do you have a child?"
Perhaps something crossed Gordon William's mind; he laughed lightly, "Yes."
Yvonne Finley found this somewhat surprising. Having visited the hospital twice, she had not seen his wife or child. It always seemed that he was alone.
"May I ask about your health situation? What disease requires such a long hospital stay?"
