Yvonne Finley continued to walk unflinchingly, her gaze fixed straight ahead, calm and collected. She passed by the highly attractive man standing there and went to the door to input the code.
He knew the code too, but probably guessed that she was angry, thus didn't intrude. His sense of boundary was clearly excellent; he acted just right.
Caleb Baker gazed at her retreating figure.
He remained silent.
Just followed her leisurely.
Before Yvonne was about to enter the door.
He lifted his hand and gently held the door shut, his gaze swirling with unspoken emotion, surpassing the beauty of the bright moon, "Yvonne."
"What?"
Yvonne held her ground, calmly responded, "Serena didn't lie, did she?"
"No." He nodded, admitting it clearly without any hesitation. Such honesty only served to further anger her.
Yvonne turned to leave, her tone indifferent, "Then, you should go home. I'm going to sleep soon."
