"What are you looking at? Got a problem?" Daisy Lambert didn't miss the look Caleb Baker gave her. She scoffed, "It's Miss Finley's first visit, and it's not like we're short of rooms. Wouldn't it be disrespectful to arrange just one? You better behave yourself."
Caleb Baker simply propped his long legs onto the coffee table, responding lazily, "Alright, I'll listen to you."
Yvonne Finley raised her eyebrows.
She glanced at the man next to her; his lips were reddened from eating an orange.
She moved her gaze away.
Daisy Lambert then stood up, "Today, I am going to cook. You guys chat here. The room next door is a star-filled cinema room; it's quite big, perfect for leisure and killing time."
Yvonne instantly stood up, "Can I help?"
Daisy Lambert walked over, smiling, and patted her bottom: "Please, be at ease, we don't subscribe to formalities in this household. Mrs. Derek, come help me."
With much vigor, she led the maid to another room.
