"What's going on? Are you guys public now?" Edward Brown reacted the quickest, knitting his brows at once, and remarked quite with disgust and resentment, "He looks so damn punchable."
Ugh!
He loathed the sight of him.
Caleb Baker walked Yvonne Finley in while holding her hand reverently, which was greeted with a round of teasing cheers and whistles. He appeared to be very calm, first he pulled out a chair for Yvonne and then pulled one out for himself next to her. He casually looped one leg over the other, propped his hand against Yvonne's backrest, and absentmindedly played with her silky curls.
"Meet my baby, Yvonne Finley," his soft Eden accent was especially deep and uninhibited, mixed with a bit of casualness, unbearably pleasing to the ear.
Edward Brown's face distorted for a moment: "..."
"Feeling sour, huh. The word 'baby', is that how all couples talk these days?"
Caleb Baker eyed him, clicking his tongue lightly, "Lonely old man."
