The courier, for a moment, couldn't tell if this was a joke or a serious matter. He simply sensed an exceptionally intimidating aura from the man in front of him - his expression weary, yet demanding.
He's just a deliveryman.
He doesn't know anything.
God knows this customer is trying to steal someone else's girlfriend.
"Please don't jest...Miss Finley, please sign for this. This cannot be returned."
It seems the youthful courier can't help but let out a disheartened laugh.
Yvonne Finley sighed helplessly, "Okay, thank you."
The courier felt as though a weight had been lifted off his shoulders.
He put the flowers down and drove off on his little electric scooter.
Caleb Baker tilted his head slightly. His tongue tip pressed against his jaw, he glanced at the flowers she was holding with a mischievous and callous smile. He wasn't annoyed, "Jake Baker hasn't given up yet."
He was somewhat surprised.
