Students were murmuring among themselves, whispering about something.
They were all too quiet to be heard.
However, this was not what Olivia Clark wanted to see, her eyes drooping with a rather helpless smile, "Teacher Finley, are you determined to cover up for Miss Tucker's actions?"
"Why are you not directly addressing my question, instead diverting the topic?" Yvonne Finley eyed her with a soft gaze, her clear voice always composed, "Can we focus on the facts? Or must Miss Clark insist on dragging morality into this matter that cannot be resolved this way?"
Olivia was stymied.
She was noticeably paler. She hadn't expected Yvonne Finley to be this difficult to handle, unable to knock her off her stride in a few words. On the contrary, Yvonne neatly articulated her points. She wasn't bothered by all the finger-pointing, nor could it confuse her.
What could Olivia say?
Not much, obviously.
