The conversation was over.
As Caleb Baker approached the door, he received an urgent call.
He spoke into the phone and then furrowed his brows slightly, "Is it serious?"
Yvonne Finley looked up at his lean, smooth face.
She couldn't make out what was being said from the other end of the phone.
Caleb Baker responded indifferently, hung up the call.
"What happened?" Yvonne Finley tightened her collar and asked curiously.
"There's a situation at the hospital, I need to go back," Caleb Baker said without going into detail. He glanced at his exquisite silver watch, "I'll drop you off at school."
Yvonne Finley thought for a moment and then declined, "No need, I have some things to do. You go ahead, don't worry about me."
Brushing the snowflakes off her head, Caleb Baker laughed lazily, pressing his tongue against his chin, "I do have time to drop off my girlfriend."
Yvonne Finley couldn't help but laugh.
