"So you are Armav" khushi questioned forwarding the glass of water to him
"As far as I was told" he stated nonchalantly.
"Why are you not talking to me? We will go to the same school from tomorrow. Don't you want to know how your new school is?" she enquired raising her brow.
"I will know about it eventually . When I will go there " he stated shrugging as she sighed.
"How boring can you exactly be?" khushi exasperated.
"Ohh Hello he isn't boring you are the one irritating him with questions that makes no sense" jai exasperated .
"No she isn't. she is asking legit questions which anyone would ask when they meet for the first time"myra yelled at him.
" You have some problem with me Myra. Firstly you made me all wet by slipping the glass of water on me. Then you didn't really allowed me to play with your toys. Now you have a problem If I speak for my brother's. " jai stated frustrated.
"No you have got it all wrong. The first one was a sheer mistake. I don't even allow my sister's to touch my toys. I don't really have a problem with you speaking up for your brother's but I do have a problem if you will shame my sister" she stated firmly as he sighed.
"Stop sugarcoating your words" he remarked.
"You are the one who is delusional . I am not sugarcoating anything" she stated shrugging.
"You are younger to him. Treat him with respect" arnav stated firmly.
"If he dosen't know how to treat other's with respect then she shouldn't treat him with respect either" khushi stated firmly.
"You aren't teaching the right things to your sister. As an elder sister you should guide her not support her when she is wrong" Arnav stated gritting his teeth.
"I am not teaching her anything wrong. Your brother should speak to her nicely if he wanted to be treated nicely too. " she said firmly .
"There is a certain line you should never cross. But its useless to even speak to you. We shouldn't waste our time teaching fools" arnav remarked as the girls gasped at his words.
'Who do you think you are to speak to us like that?" khushi stated clutching his hand.
"Khushi see we can play this with all of them" ruhi stated hopping over to them excitedly
"yeah bro . The games here are mind blogging. We can just stay here and play all we want" arav exclaimed beside her.
"Don't talk to them Arav . They are disrespectful and have no manners whatsoever" Arnav stated sternly.
"Yeah don't talk to these egoistic jerks ruhi" myra stated folding her arms.
"what happened here?" arav questioned perplexed.
"People here don't know how to respect other people and especially how to treat guests" jai stated mockingly.
"The guests should themselves have some dignity while speaking to the host" khushi retaliated back.
"why does it seems that you guys fought? Its better to have fun together then fighting" ruhi squeaked.
"No they aren't worth it" myra stated firmly.
"What are you guys even saying our parents won't like it if they see you like this" arav exasperated ..
"Since when did you started caring about all that arav" arnav stated raising a brow at him..
"Just because our parents our childhood friends. It doesn't means that we have to be like that too" khushi stated nonchalantly.
"AHH SAVE ME . SAVE ME . WHO THE HELL DID THIS? SAVE ME SAVE ME SAVE ME SAVE ME" nandini yelled jumping up and down as manik held her firmly. All the kids ran down the stairs to see what was happening. They saw Nandini over the couch as karthik , Manik and Naira were busy finding the damn mouse she saw.
"what happened mom?" the girls yelled running to her side.
"Mouse mouse" nandini squeaked as sweat beads formed over her head and her heart rate accelerated . The girls were immediately by her side hugging thier mother. Siddharth and shehnaaz were watching the scenario anxiously. They knew from where the mouse came. This chaos was because of them.
"You are fine mom" myra questioned as soon as everybody settled down. The buttler caught the mouse and took it to its cage.
"I am " nandini stated calming her breaths. Khushi fisted her hands and looked at the boys with a an inscrutable look.
" This is all thier fault. They are the one's who must have set of my mouse to avenge me. They just hate me dad. They must have wanted mom to have her attack seeing the mouse and then in turn making my pet leave the house" khushi accused as the boys eyes widened at her words.
"Whatever you are saying khushi actually makes no sense at all. The time the mouse was out you were fighting with arnav and jai. " ruhi yelled at her.
"No ruhi . You have made arav your friend that doesn't means you will betray us. Its all because of thier unscrupulous intentions" myra yelled as ruhi gasped at her words.
'you shouldn't say things like that myra and khushi. How would they know you have a pet or your mother have a phobia like that" manik stated sternly. His tone implied clearly that he wasn't up for the drama.
"No dad they are just bad. " khushi stated firmly as she glared at the boys.
"You are the one who is vicious. we didn't even move out of the room. We were with you all the time in the room . How are we supposed to let the mouse of the cage?" jai exasperated loosing his calm.
"You shouldn't take your jealousy so far" arnav stated explicitly.
"Jealous. who are you that we will be jealous of you? You don't even have your own toys. You have been gawking at our house since we came here. Bloody beggers. " khushi stated venomously.
"Khushi. " nandini yelled ferociously
"Even if we are . We are still human and we know how to respect other's and treat them like human" arnav spat almost instantly.
'Even if we are beggers. we know how to treat guests. You call people in your house and shame them.That's not what we were taught. Guests are treated like God. We expected atleast to be treated like human not some doormate" jai stated ferociously.
"what are you even saying jai?" karthik yelled his temper rising by each minute.
"They are right dad. They were shaming Jai and Arnav . These girls are bullies. shehnaaz you shouldn't have protected siddharth from them. He himself is like them" arav growled at them..
"what do you mean protecting from the bullies?" naira questioned sternly..
"Siddharth was getting bullied by a group of boys. Before they could slap him . Shehnaaz stepped in to protect him. We went there and stood behind her in case those guys hit her. They all ran away seeing us. You shouldn't have protected siddharth. They have enough money to get him treated ." Arnav grumbled as a loud voice echoed through the mansion. Karthik slapped arnav harshly who fell down with the impact.
"Have you lost your manners? This is your best behaviour Arnav Agnihotri Gill. " karthik yelled as tears flew out of his eyes.
"I let the mouse go" shehnaaz squeaked as everyone looked at her startled. Jai and Arav ran towards her and pulled her behind them . Karthik walked towards them ferociously but Manik held his hand stopping him in his tracks.
"Siddharth tell me what happened?" manik's steely voice reverberated .
"Dad she wanted to annoy her brother's . So we were trying to find them when we accidentally went inside the room where the mouse was kept . Shehnaaz went to take a look at that when I pulled her. Her hand was on the lock and when I pulled her the lock got openned. The mouse ran away and it even bit shehnaaz. " siddharth stated timidly as everyone sighed.
"Its her fault at the end of the day" karthik grumbled .
"No it isn't . Its an accident didn't you hear" manik said pulling him back.
'Yeah its ok karthik . They didn't know about my phobia" nandini stated softly.
" No mom they are truly vicious. What if they told thier sister to do all of this. Siddharth is gullible .She would have asked him to say all of that and he said it. Apparently she is the first ever friend he has. He won't want her to leave him. Its all thier plan" myra grumbled beside his mother.
"Will you shut up myra" manik yelled loosing his calm.
"we didn't know about all of you at all. We were told today morning that we will meet our neighbors. The kind of imagination you have you should write a novel. You can even announce us to be your stalkers. " arav yelled loosing his calm.
"what about you dad? phobia is that even something you belive in. Because what you did with all of us two years back will loose all its significance. Nandini Aunty's phobia matters but we have to deal with it till we get hospitalized. I mean can you stand at one side of the line dad. " jai stated picking the sniffing shehnaaz in his arms.
"I will show you the side of the line today" karthik yelled as he pulled the kids out of the house. The other's tried to stop him but he violently pushed all his kids inside his house and locked the house leaving naira outside . She kneeled infront of her house with tears dripping down her face.
"Naira are you fine?" manik and nandini jogged towards her with the kids trailing behind them.
"How can I be? when I know what's going to happen inside those four walls and I am standing helpless here" naira yelled as she started running aimlessly down the road. why does he have to become a monster again? Till when does her kids have to suffer like this. Nothing was thier fault at all. Still they will be the one being brutally punished.
"Don't you want to get out of this hell?"
