'Quest failed…' Myra murmured.
'Damn, I know.' Dean squeezed his hand tightly. He knew someone was to blame for this fiasco, and that person must be punished as hard as he could. Andre or Orion could be next, as far as Dean knew.
It was tiring for Dean. He thought he could get a little sense of normality during his time here, but no, all he got was danger and more danger. Now, he couldn't back up from the deal that he created.
Task Force Kilo might be the good guys in this scenario, but Dean put the last nail in his coffin by entering the Task Force. Sooner or later, it would get crazier and crazier and Dean knew it. This wouldn't end with a whimper, but with a bang.
'Still, Dean, you've done the right thing. No one would do that if they were a normal kid.'
'So, Adams and I are abnormal, got it.'
'I'm not saying it like that, however, you have your point,' Dean said.
'I'm trying my best to help,' Myra said.
'It's not like I am expecting much from you, Myra,' Dean added.
