Adams and Dean got out of the janitor's room after the rest of Task Force Kilo got out of the room. Both of them stood in the middle of the empty school hallway. Dean didn't get what he got himself into, but he was sure that it wasn't a walk in the park.
"So, Dean, I'm sure you want to talk."
"Yes, sir. Can I talk here?" Dean asked.
"Sure, go ahead, nobody's here. Literally, and don't sir me. Dude, it's not like I was promoted before you come here, just call me Adams when we're alone," Adams said.
"What's the deal with the Kilo team?" Dean asked.
"Kilo team. It's some sort of collaboration between the 120th Training Battalion, the 12th SFG, and the AIPD. You see those police, they were helping us with the investigation while the military keeps the boots on the ground," Adams said.
"A joint task force between the military and the police sounds odd."
