River
"I heard you were in London with a girl?" my Mom suddenly asked now that she's here together with Walter and Howell.
Howell's grin went wide, giving me the playful smirk he has.
"I was, yes," I said while typing a message I'm going to send to Emiliana.
It's nearly evening and I was busy fixing all the documents I had arranged with these two when my mother came inside. Howell has returned to their company and is done with his punishment as a professor.
My mom sat on the chair in front while the two remained silent. It was ready around six in the evening, nearly seven in the evening but Emiliana wasn't answering her phone.
"Tika Rowler, the daughter of my friend, said you met her. And you're with a girl… was it Zara, son?" she sounds happy.
"It seems like you still don't know your son, aunt. Maybe it's a different girl, right, River?" Howell suddenly said, smirking at me.
