Synopsis
"It has always been a lifetime dream to marry the root of all evil."  Mosi Abena is a scholarship student at University of C in country C. Abena has always been a money grubber and her next goal is to marry rich. Just like her mother did. Valentine was the perfect opportunity to carry out her plan on Pei Feng, her coursemate from a wealthy background. Her plan was simple. She would lure her way to his bed during the Valentine staycation his family was hosting and knowing Pei Feng he would definitely take responsibility.  Except that she landed into the wrong bed. "Pei Shangdi? Aren't you….you...you are…"  "Little Peis older cousin? Yes."  "Ahhh…" her mouth was quickly covered by another. His palm smelled of her. Of course. This man had his hands roaming her body two minutes ago. Angrily...she threw the pillow at him. "You virile man."  Because it was dark, she couldn't see his expression and couldn't tell if he found her amusing or if he was mad. The man turned on the bedside lamp and Abena was caught in his smoldering eyes. Forehead glistening with sweat.  "You plan to cheat little Pei off his money right?" He reached for a box of cigarettes and placed one between  his lips. "Of course not. I am not that kind of person." She lied.  Knowing how she was like when they were kids, he scoffed. Removed the cigarette and said. "I am Pei Shangdi. Money and I are one. Together we are the root of all evil."  Such great introduction!  Her expression totally changed and she cupped her breasts and sat upright. "Actually it has been my lifetime dream to marry the root of all evil."  Pei Shangdi didn't know if he should feel happy or sad. The val package he has always wanted fell right into his hands. But this kid...does she even know what she is getting herself into?  ________________ The book cover does not belong to me. Chapter 1 - THE MOMENT SHE SLEPT WITH THE WRONG MAN.

Female orgasms are such a beautiful sight to behold. Even after the climax was over, he just went still. Staring at her twitching like she had just been electrocuted. Her finger dug into his back and although it was pitch dark, he could see every reaction on her olive tone face. Who would have thought that the feeling it would give him, was more than he could ever imagine. For the first time, he was glad he followed through with who he was.

"You good baby girl?" his gravelly voice travelled to her ears. She smiled. Let herself rest into the bed before she processed the voice and felt the hairs on her hand stand.

He saw it. What he had been waiting for. The shock. The realization that she had entered the wrong room. In a swift, she got up but collapsed back into the bed. He rolled unto his side and sat upright, his head supported by the headboard.

Abena sucked in deep breaths. This one mistake. She could not believe she had made such a mistake. "Get out of this room or I will scream." She threatened, unwilling to face the mistake she had made.

She heard him chuckle. "One, this is my room. Two, you have been screaming." He retorts.

She fumbled with the sheets and came to sit on his lap. Straddling him but keeping her distance between the privates. She began to feel his hair and face while he just sat there and let her hands roam around. She paused when she got to his lip and his heart skipped a beat. Could she have realised that it was him?

"This...this scar.." she traced her hand around it again. It cant be. He is dead. She shook her head before withdrawing her hands from his face. "You...you aren't Pei Feng."

"Ahhh..." he said in a boring tone as if he had just realised who she wanted. "Were you hoping to sneak into little Peis room?"

The goose bumps on her arms spread again and her heart started to beat fast. Little Pei? She was aware that this hotel belongs to one of the Pei members and Pei Fang had said most of his family members were celebrating Valentine here too. Could it be....?

SHE SLEPT WITH HIS FATHER....!

"Are you...are you..Pei Fangs father? Elder Pei?" she questioned silently praying he wasn't. She would be even glad if he was just one of the errand men or guards. She was not ready to be Pei Fangs stepmother or anyone's sugar baby.

The man chuckled again. Did he find it funny? Is now the right time to laugh?

"Little Peis father is at a private island. I am Pei Shangdi." He informs, his palm resting on her soft thigh.

Now her heart rate picked even faster. Pei Shangdi? The one Pei Fang talks about? The one the whole country talks about? Should she have made sure to be familiar with the Pei members, she wouldn't land in such trouble. Or maybe it was just someone else with the same name.

"Pei Shangdi? Aren't you...aren't you..."

"Little Peis older cousin? Yes. Pleased to meet you."

"Ahhh..." her mouth was quickly covered by another. His palm smelled of her rose scent. Of course it would. This man had his hands roaming through her body few minutes ago. Angrily, she threw the pillow at him. "You virile man!" he could have told her who he was.

Because it was dark, she couldn't see his expression and couldn't tell if he was amused or mad at her. The man leaned slightly to the left and turned on the beside lamp catching Abenas eyes with his smouldering ones. Those eyes. Those grey eyes. She knew someone with that eye colour as well. His forehead was glistening in sweat.

"You plan to cheat little Pei off his money right?" he reached to pick a cigarette and placed one between his lips, his palm that was on her thigh now getting cold.

"Of course not. I am not that kind of person." She lied.

Knowing how she was like when they were kids, he scoffed. Removed the cigarette and re-introduced himself. "I am Pei Shangdi. Money and I are one. Together we are the root of all evil."

Such great introduction!

Her expression quickly changed and she cupped her breasts and sat upright. "Actually, it has been my lifetime dream to marry the root of all evil."

Pei Shangdi didn't know if he should feel happy or sad. The Val package he has always wanted fell right into his palm. This kid...does she even know what she is getting herself into? Has he changed so much that she could not even recognize him? He caught Abena staring at the scar on his lips and smirks.

"What? You want to kiss?"

She quickly rolled off him. She must be crazy. The money he mentioned must have fogged her memories a bit. Why would she say she wanted to marry him. "Hahahaa...I was kidding. Kidding. Don't mind what I said." She looked around for her night wear which was now laying on the floor. She glanced at him and saw that he was watching her. Suddenly she began to feel heat rise up in her body. "Can you stop staring, it is making me uncomfortable."

"We both are naked and considering what we just did, should 'uncomfortable' be a word between us?" he got out of bed and walked to her side. Abena lowered her head, refusing to let her eyes see things that will make her imagination run wild. He extended her night wear to her and she quickly snatched it. What was she to say bow? How should she explain the situation?

"Thank you and about this..." she watched him pick up his robe and took his time tying it. "hmm..hmm..I am sorry I pounced on you in the middle of the night. It must have been the alcohol." She lied.

"You didn't take any alcohol." He informs taking his seat next to her and staring at her. Abena could not dare to meet his eyes. The way he was shamelessly staring at her was as if he wanted to be she wouldn't vanish. "I didn't taste any from your mouth."

If she were light skinned, she was sure her whole face would be red by now. "Anyways...I am sorry. This won't happen again."

"Tsk...so you are saying, you don't want to take responsibility?"

Abena raised her head and met his eyes. "Sir...?"

A dark cloud suddenly formed around his head when he heard the way she had just addressed him. Was he that old?

"You have grown." He said before tearing his eyes away from her and staring into space.

She quickly wore her night wear. Fumbling around with the duvet for her lingerie, she had no choice but to ask him. "Excuse me sir...Mr Pei, have you seen my...my lingerie?"

He stretched out his hand to her and she saw the flimsy red thing. "This..."

"Thank.." he retracted his hand the moment she was about to take it and tucked it into his robe pocket. "You..."

"Me? Do you have something to say?" he asked in a dead voice.

She quickly shakes her head. It is just a flimsy piece she bought for cheap. She wouldn't dare to anger the man after all the stories she had heard about him. Crawling out of bed, she stood by the night stand and stared into the night through the window. Even though the weather was clear last night, the atmosphere now seem to have been enveloped in a mist. Making the night appear more mysterious and chilly. As if there was something lurking in the mist.

She gave a full bow and was about to speak when she saw something fall from up. Although it was quite brief and swift, she could tell it was a body that had fallen from the upper floor and it was confirmed when she heard the cracking sound. Abena rushed to cover her mouth as she felt her body start to shake involuntarily. Meanwhile, Pei Shangdi just sat there staring at her with grey eyes that had now turned black and a faint smile dancing on his lips.
