When she was two or so steps away from her, Eiana stopped.
Thesia visibly went stiff, as she held her breathe, and her breath hitched even more when Eiana raised her hand towards her, and she closed her eyes.
But surprisingly, her hand landed gently on her head, as Eiana pulled out a dried leaf from her braided hairs. She then threw it away, and said, " There was a dry leaf on your hairs. It must have fallen while you were working, perhaps."
Thesia's hand went to her hairs, and she meekly said, "T- that, I was cleaning the courtyard area earlier." She said with her head lowered, while not daring to make an eye contact with her.
Eiana nodded her head. She looked at the vampiress, and wondered just how much did the circumstances change her. That once a proud vampire princess like hers, is reduced to a servant. And she isn't able to even raise her head and talk.
