'I walked and kept walking until my legs were no longer strong enough to walk. Feeling hopeless, after realizing that I never found a way out.
Frustrated, of course… I sensed that I was hopeless, but when a call sounded in my ear I realized that hope was still there and I met him, the kind tattooed man.' - Nakamura Yama
(Tells about Yama meeting Philip.)
Yama has been walking for a long time, and even his legs can no longer walk, he feels that he has walked the same path twice. But during that time he did not find any way out or at least a signboard like a large map, which should always be in the labyrinth garden to serve as a signpost and guide to the way out.
Weakly, Yama sat down on one of the walls of the labyrinth on the right. He was very tired and he felt very thirsty and he also felt hungry, but he had nothing to eat.
"Hey!" a call that sounded in Yama's ear also madeHe turned his head to look at someone who was currently standing quite far from where he was sitting, and realized that he was not the only one in the labyrinth that made Yama immediately get up from his seat and smile happily as he walked over to the person who had just called him.
A man who was standing at the end of the hall was seen covered in tattoos all over his body, or rather from his right hand to his cheek and forehead. The man did not look very friendly, but Yama tried to be as friendly as possible by smiling when he arrived right in front of the man.
"Oh, hello! I'm so lucky to find someone like you here," said Yama, and heard from his words Yama seemed to feel happy and grateful to have met the man. Even Yama's friendly attitude made the man who had just called him now frown and look at Yama who was now silent in front of him, only two meters away and that was enough to make the tattooed man feel confused.
Yama's gaze a second later was diverted when he felt that something was dripping on both of the man's hands, and Yama was greatly surprised when he saw that both of the man's hands were covered in blood, which made Yama stammered pointing at his arms, "Oh! … k… you're bleeding!" Yama said to the man, and from what Yama said, the man felt that Yama was worried about the condition he was currently in.
"The new kid??" asked the tattooed man to Yama, the man's question was not answered, making him believe that Yama would not respond and his gaze continued to focus on the tattooed man's hands which were now covered in blood, and realized that of course made the man cleared his throat so that Yama turned to look at him in confusion. Seeing Yama's confusion, made the tattooed man who was standing right in front of Yama at that time, now sighed and realized that Yama was a child who had just come here.
"Hh… I guess I was right, you are the new kid." said the man who then swung his arm and asked Yama to come along with him sitting on one of the walls of the labyrinth and then talking.
Seeing the man invited him to sit down, Yama finally sat down beside the tattooed man and then said, "Eum... I'm Yama, what's your name?" Yama asked a little awkwardly to the tattooed man who was now wiping the blood that covered his hands with the jacket he was wearing, which made Yama realize that it wasn't blood that came from him, and he also hadn't come to think of whose blood it was, thus making Yama look calm. -take it easy.
"Hh… I'm Philip." Philip answered briefly to Yama who was now cheering and nodding his head at that.
"Eum, … do you know where we are now? Because to be honest, I was confused, I should have been at a railroad crossing not far from my house, but suddenly… I was in this labyrinth, and again… I couldn't find a way out." Yama explained to Philip who now turned to look at him and then narrowed his forehead after seeing his face and realizing that he was younger than himself.
"Are you still in school?" asked Philip ignoring Yama's question and asking another question back, which of course made Yama frown and then nod his head in response to it all.
Understandably, Philip didn't realize Yama's age because Yama's clothes were currently wearing dark green trousers with many pockets, a white t-shirt, and a black cloth jacket. Philip had thought that Yama might be someone in his 20s, but upon closer inspection, Yama's face looked much younger than that.
"How old are you?!" Philip asked again to Yama who now seemed to think and then said with certainty,
"I'm in 3rd grade of middle school and this year I'm fourteen years old." Yama's answer at that time was very surprising for Philip, and his surprise was shown by the look on his face which widened his eyes after hearing Yama's answer.
"Hey! Why are you even here kid?!" Philip asked Yama who looked confused by it, while Philip now looked annoyed as if a child of Yama's age shouldn't be in this labyrinth.
"Am I not allowed to be here, Philip??" Yama asked Philip who is now getting up from his seat and looks frustrated for some reason.
"Yes! Why would they send a fourteen-year-old child into this dimension?!" Philip replied while growling annoyed at someone, and seeing these movements of course made Yama a little scared and confused at what Philip had just said.
"Philip… I don't understand what you mean?" Yama asked Philip who was now squatting in front of Yama and holding Yama's shoulders as he said,
"Listen… this place isn't good for you, Yama… you have to go back to the world right away, this isn't a good place for you!" Philip explained to Yama, and this of course made Yama even more confused by it.
Yama clearly heard that Philip said, that he must return to the world immediately, and that word became a serious question for Yama. If he had to return to the world, what is the place that the two of them are currently standing on?? that's a serious question that reached Yama's mind at this time.
"Philip ... I really don't understand what you're saying," Yama said panicked by Philip's words, and the question made Philip look at him and then sighed heavily to finally order Yama to stand up from his seat.
"Come… come with me, I will explain everything I know about this place so that you will at least understand after listening to my explanation while on the road," said Philip to Yama who now rose from his seat and walked hand in hand with Philip who walked away from where they rested earlier.
Actually, Yama is afraid of many things, including Philip who he realizes is a strange person. But since she had no choice and wanted to go home soon, she had to completely trust Philip and continue to follow in his footsteps. Yama feels sure that not all weirdos are dangerous people.
