Lunch just passed, and so did dinner. Nothing different, still the same as at breakfast. The girl who has the name Layla still eats in small portions, her parents still don't pay attention to her, and Arsenio just stays silent without a word.
After dinner was over, we did nothing. Arsenio decided to go to bed early after seeing the stars in the clear sky. Androcles and Cecelia were like that too, they entered their rooms after dinner was over—perhaps they wanted to do something that only adults knew. Henry, his wife, and their daughter also entered their room. As I passed their room, I could hear a voice from inside. Maybe they were talking about something or were scolding their daughter. Since it was their family's privacy, I didn't bother them, and just left from there.
Ever since I was in this room, mine and Arsenio's, I've always been watching my twins; Arsenio. I hope he will tell me something, why he can be close to Layla when they fought before, then what should we do to prevent Cecelia from doing that. I expected that from him, but he doesn't seem to be willing to speak for the time being. So, I decided to just sleep afterward.
And now, at 3 am, I am forced to wake up from my sleep due to something that wants to come out of me. I had to take it out because it was so painful to hold it in. My stomach, and my bird, have to expel them to make myself comfortable. In other words, I need to defecate and pee at this time.
I have to go to the toilet right now even though my sleep time is disturbed.
There's nothing wrong with this. On this 2nd floor, nothing went wrong when I just came out of my room. But, with the windows, the curtains blowing in the wind, and the lights off, I think the atmosphere of this castle is very different when my family activity begins. Somehow I feel goosebumps when I'm in my own house.
"How scary… I have to hurry."
The cold that I felt, along with my slightly dark vision, made me have to run quickly to get to the toilet. It was all so that this astonishing atmosphere disappeared from within me.
"Shit… Why does it have to be like this anyway? It's the first time I've had the urge to defecate at this hour. If I had known it would be like this, I would have just woken up Arsenio to accompany me."
The rice had turned into porridge and I had already continued out of my room, so I couldn't do anything else but just run to the toilet. Even if I freak out and say something obvious, my goal is still the same, get to the toilet quickly.
"There it is."
I saw hope in front of me. It was a door of hope for me. Inside there is a momentary paradise for me right now. It was the toilet I craved and was looking forward to.
By the time I got there, I breathed a sigh of relief at having made it to my destination. I quickly took off my pants, sat in this luxurious closet, took them out of me, and smiled as if I had succeeded in becoming the richest person in this world.
"Hehehe. Finally..."
I had already guessed that the atmosphere inside here was more comfortable than outside that door, the castle's long 2nd-floor hallway. I might as well sleep here, forgetting that I have a room with a comfortable mattress. But at the thought of Arsenio alone there, taking possession of our comfortable mattress, I wouldn't let that happen. So, I will venture out of here after my business is done.
PLUNG!
"That was my last bullet, I think."
After saying that, I doused those scattered in the puddle. They quickly fit into a pipe that goes straight into the ground. And I immediately put on my underwear and sleeping pants.
"Silent! Lightning!"
As I was just getting out of the toilet, a woman with long silver hair passed me quickly. And somehow in front of the woman, there was a flash of lightning that seemed to be guiding her way. And somehow... along this second-floor hallway, all I saw was black and white.
"...?"
I'm confused by that. The woman who passed me was running so fast, that it looked as if she was exceeding the speed of the wind. But one thing is for sure, I got to see the headband in her hair, as well as her clothes that are similar to this castle maid outfit.
"Could it be..."
And when I think back, think back on the time she passed me, I know her face. The woman who just passed me by being led by the lightning in front of her was Helena, one of the maids of this castle, who had the most beautiful face among the maids.
"Why can she run as fast as lightning? And... why is everything in black and white here? What kind of lightning is that in front of her?"
I wondered out of confusion about what I had just seen. What I just saw was Helena past me and running fast and disappearing from this long hallway of the 2nd floor. I'm confused about the reason why she ran, the lightning bolt in front of her, and why it's all black and white here.
"If I keep thinking about it, I won't find the answer. I have to follow her."
That's what I thought and what I have to do now. Finding out is the right decision for me at the moment.

"Forgive me! I beg you, I was only told to."
"Who ordered you?"
"What the hell is that?" I asked with my eyes wide and confused.
I saw a man trying to escape from there, right in front of Helena. The two of them were in the courtyard of this house, talking about something I couldn't hear from this 2nd-floor window.
"I-I just…"
The man looked pleading and fell there. I could see his ankle was injured, like it had been slashed by a sword.
"Just what?"
"I-I was just told to. I was ordered to, so I beg of you to forgive me."
"Who ordered you? Are you trying to keep your fucking mouth shut?"
"N-No, I was just told to do it. I-I beg you…"
"Who ordered you? Answer me!"
"I also do not know. I was only ordered to come here to kill the de Jansens. They didn't reveal their identity to me, only gave me a down payment and the reward that I would get for doing that."
The man was crying, pleading with Helena who was in front of him.
Judging from this situation, it seems that the man begged Helena to let him get out of here. And judging by the gesture of his lips, it seems that he is trying to honestly say something to Helena.
I can't hear what they're saying. If I opened these curtains and windows, I would be caught by them. But for sure, I know that the man is trying to escape from Helena.
I thought the man was in danger. Somehow I can feel an unsettling aura from within Helena. That aura felt like it wanted to kill the man. It was dark and filled with anger.
"What happened?" I ask.
The man was neither part of my family nor the de Bodic family. That man was a foreign man who might have come to this castle. I don't know what he's here for. Is it possible he wants... according to what Arsenio and I thought? But, Helena... What's with her?
As I was thinking that, Helena was holding something bright yellow.
"That... It's lightning."
It was lightning, Helena held the thunderbolt with her right hand.
"Humans, I'm sick of you guys! Die and live in Eternal Hell!"
"Please forgive me! I have a child that I have to raise. Don't kill me, I beg you! Please forgive me! I promise I won't come here again. I have a family waiting for me to come home."
Helena threw the lightning bolt she was holding onto the defenseless man, who had begged her for mercy. The lightning struck his entire body, and quickly, the man turned black and was probably "dead".
After doing that, the man who had become charred disappeared from there. His entire body seemed to be carried away by the wind, turning into pieces of dust that other living beings would breathe in.
"You will kill your friends with your ashes, human."
After she said that, she turned around quickly. She turned right where I was, and I reflexively looked down and hid and covered my mouth. I saw the look on her face.
"Her eyes… her beautiful blue eyes disappeared. Where did those beautiful blue eyes go? Why are her eyes red and black and scary? What happened to her? Is she not a good woman? Damn... I have to get out of here before she finds me. Arsenio, you can't play with her anymore. You can't make her your horse anymore. She is a very dangerous woman!"
