Chapter 4 - Very Innocent Person

Alina laughed which without realizing it made Yu feel like he liked the young doctor even more.

"Is there something wrong, Doc?"

"Hey!"

"Ah, sorry, Alina?"

"No," Alina folded her arms across her breasts as she continued to keep an eye on all the devices attached to the man's body. "I just think you're really unique."

"Oh, am I?"

"Yeah," Alina nodded slightly. "In fact, you're also one of the few people with dextrocardia."

"What is that?" Yu's brow furrowed, Alina could see this. "Is there a simple language with what you say is unique about me, Alina?"

Alina laughed softly again.

"I mean," said Alina, she stopped in front of the big screen on Yu's left. Pay attention to the man's right brain waves. "It's a condition where a person has a heart that is opposite to other humans in general. Not just regular dextrocardia, you have what we call Dextrocardia with Site Inversus."

"Huh?!"

Alina smiled. She understood that the man did not understand the medical term.

"That means, Yu," said the doctor to continue her explanation. "Not only is your heart on the right side, but your liver, spleen, and stomach are also on the opposite side of most people."

"Oh my God, I am a weirdo," Yu said. "I even just found out about this."

"I assume you never went to the doctor," said Alina. "Am I wrong?"

"No, you're right. You know, people like us don't have that kind of privilege."

Well, Alina understands that. Life in the 30th century is very lame. People like Yu would have preferred to spend the money they had on food and drink instead of going to the doctor, even though they were seriously ill.

Moreover, in addition to the costs that can only be afforded by the elite, also, because almost all existing doctors do not want to get their hands dirty with people from the lower classes.

This is so ironic, so sad, Alina thought. A doctor who should be indiscriminate in treating a patient, whether they were a famous person or not, a noble or a commoner, all had to be viewed as equal. And installing, it should be like that.

But, this is the social order that exists in this century. This is the life they have to live, like it or not.

"Why are you silent, Alina?"

Yu is seen still moving with the help of sophisticated hexagonal devices that move his head, body, hands, and feet.

"Naa, I'm…"

"I know," said Yu. "You may feel disgusted with me—well because I come from the lower classes. And even worse, the bottom of the bottom."

"No, don't get me wrong, Yu."

"Are you sure?"

Alina took a deep breath, her perfect chest swelled higher and higher.

"Even though I come from the elite," said Alina. "However, I have never discriminated against a person's social strata."

"Wow!"

Alina saw the beautiful curved line on the man's lips.

"Does that mean I will have a chance to get to you?"

Alina laughed softly again while shaking her head. She wanted to pat the man on the thigh, but she didn't. Well, it may interfere with the simulation itself.

"Oh my, Yu!"

"Why?"

"Don't you ever take things seriously?"

Yu laughed. "My life is a joke of life itself. Then tell me, Doctor, why should I take things seriously? Not even with this sure death."

Alina took a deep breath again.

"You sound sad?" said Yu. "Are you sympathizing with me?"

"I don't know," said Alina. "You make me think deeply about the real existence of humans in this universe."

"Well… that's also something I've been wondering about for a long time," said Yu. "Oh, God…!"

"What is it?" Alina looked back at the large monitor screen in front of her. "What happened, Yu?"

"Is the star still far?"

Alina almost laughed hearing that. What a strange man! A curse that adds to her admiration for the figure itself.

"How am I supposed to know?" said Alina. "You were there. So, you should be the one telling me that."

Yu chuckled. "Yeah, I guess it's really far away. Gosh, I'm starting to feel cramps in both my hands and feet."

Alina noticed that Yu's hands were moving like someone rowing. Then switch to the two legs of the man who did the same activity.

Nothing strange thought the young doctor.

The girl then touched the large and thin monitor screen. Changed the existing view into two large sections. One part shows the man's hands, and the second part shows his legs.

The three-dimensional image on the screen then changes. From just a picture of Yu's hands and feet, now the pictures immediately show the veins and nerves in those hands and feet.

"Don't push yourself too much, Yu," said Alina. Yes, nothing is wrong, she thought. All muscle and nerve activity looks normal. "You still have six more days to go through this session."

"I know," said Yu.

And again Alina saw the sweet strokes on the man's lips. Don't tell me, him…

"I was just trying to make a good impression on you."

Oh my God, it turned out to be true. "You're crazy!" the young doctor laughed softly.

She folded her two hands again on her breasts, shaking her head slightly looking at the smiling face in front of her.

Yu laughed again. "I don't know," he said. "Is this what puberty feels like?"

Alina couldn't hold back her laughter. "You're crazy!" she said and was greeted with laughter from Yu himself. "How old are you, hmm? 17 years? 18? Gosh, Yu… You're already 30 years old. That means you've passed that phase."

"Yeah, yeah…" Yu chuckled again. "I'm just asking."

"Whatever!"

Alina checked the fine wires behind the clear helmet with its fine needles and penetrated Yu's scalp.

Beep!

The surface of the screen again displays images of the man's brain activity, the right brain waves are getting bigger and more intense. The man's heart rate rose slightly, but his blood pressure was relatively stable.

No distractions, Alina thought.

"What are you looking at, Yu?"

"Ermm… I don't know," Yu frowned, his hands moving like someone's movement to keep his body afloat in the water. "I thought it was a star."

"Then?"

"I'm not sure," said Yu. "A galaxy?"

"Explain to me!"

"I can see neatly arranged mists."

"Mists?"

"Yes," said Yu. "Like a spiral, I dunno! Move in a counterclockwise direction."

"Aah…" Alina nodded while watching the man's brain waves again on the big screen. "It's probably the spiral arms."

"Spiral arms?"

"You know, some galaxies have that kind of thing. The Milky Way also has several spiral arms. Well, not all galaxies, of course."

"Ah, I see, huh?"

"You know what galaxy you're looking at?"

"I don't know," said Yu. "Sorry, I'm… well, let's say, am not educated."

"Hey, don't be so low-key!"

"But this is the reality of me."

"Very well, Master Yu."

"Good grief…"

Alina laughed softly. "Come on, let you feel that you are not marginal."

"Pathetic!"

"All right, all right," said Alina. "Yu. Are you happy now?"

"Not yet."

"Oh, God!"

"But seriously, I don't know what galaxy is right in front of my eyes right now."

"It doesn't matter," said Alina. "After this is over, you can learn a lot about galaxies. Or at least, get to know the forms of galaxies that exist in this expanding universe."

"Well, I hope so too, so that I'm not so stupid in the eyes of others."

"You're not stupid."

"Is that what you think?"

"You're just unlucky."

"Yeah, I guess you're right," Yu smiled. He wasn't offended at all by such things. "And by the way, how much longer do I have to float around like this? Aah, dammit…!"

"What is it?"

"I can't see the plane I left earlier."

Alina stifled a laugh. Of course, he still thinks that way, Alina muttered to herself. With all the devices he thought he was using, of course, he couldn't just suddenly be in outer space.

"Don't worry about it, Yu?"

"Should I?"

"Yes," said Alina. "Because, from my position here, I can still detect you."

"Where exactly are you?" Yu asked. "On that spaceship earlier? Or are you still on Earth?"

Alina smiled, shaking her head lightly. "I was on the same plane that took you earlier."

"Ah, so that's how it is?"

"That means, I can pick you up anytime."

"That's even more fun for me."

"Just be a little serious, Yu!"

"I'm serious."

"So annoying!"

Yu laughed heartily. "Moreover, when I come back, you greet me with a warm hug, and then, we kiss."

Alina laughed. "And then, you meant to have sex with me, didn't you?"

The man was shaking on the special chair, shaking from his laughter.

"Gosh!" said Alina. "Either you really don't know how to seduce a girl, or are you just too naive about all that? Who knows!"

"I told you, didn't I?" Yu said. "I've never had a girlfriend. So, yeah… I really don't know how to approach a girl. I thought if I'm being honest, maybe you'll want to kiss me."

"You damn virgin-boy!"
