Claude wasn't at all comfortable with Julianna leaving with Wolfram.
But seeing her firm stare, he clenched his fists and knew what he was doing.
"I will lead them out. But you!... If she loses so much as a strand from her head, do you believe I will kill you without blinking?"
Wolfram grinned playfully, allowing his persona to show. "Hey!... What do you take me for? Do I look like a con man?"
Yes. Claude inwardly thought, a little annoyed by the guy's character. Of course, the underwear flaring above his head, the fabric (cape) tied around his neck, and everything else about his attire made Claude want to punch him.
Are you a man? Don't you have any dignity in you?
Claude couldn't help feeling pitiful for whatever woman would end up with this annoying fellow.
Wolfram inwardly cursed, seeing Claude's face turn darker.
