What was going on?
In the dark moldy, stone-walled cells, everyone had long woken up from the battle sounds whispering out.
Their hearts tightened, and their bodies subconsciously moved away from the cell bars.
Some were lame and crippled, others injured, and the majority too exhausted.
But even with this much, they dared not rest their eyes anymore.
And in a particular broad cell, everyone was staring back and forth between the cell bars and a young girl in slave costume.
Her hair had been cut unevenly, an act done by another vicious person. And though her face had been scarred to its current hideous self, the girl still had a gallant aura that made many want to subconsciously obey her.
Her beautiful eyes contrasted her now-hideous face. With the help of another, she rose to her feet and advanced closer to the bars amidst her pain.
