Look at the interface?
Wolfram didn't know why, but he was both excited and very anxious.
Cupping his hands, he made a silent prayer in his heart.
'Good God! Please don't let it be anything crazy… Earlier on, didn't you say: May the heavens be with me? Then please, don't let this system be a murderous one!'
Cold sweat formed on his palms when recalling the number of times the system wanted to see blood.
F***!
Wolfram gritted his teeth and reached for his floating interface.
And the first thing he saw was an overly large icon covering the screen.
[Access Granted. Host officially selected.
This is the Ultimate Age Building System!]
Wait… What?
The Ultimate Age Building System?
What did it mean by Age?
Wolfram was even more confused than before.
Could it be that his age would grow to tens and thousands of years in a blink of an eye?
Who would want to grow into an old man so fast?
(:*π*:)
Wolfram pouted his lips, feeling both aggrieved and disappointed.
But it wasn't long before he knew how wrong he was.
Sigh...
Still filled with disappointment about growing old, Wolfram bitterly accepted his fate.
Puff~
The overly large icon disappeared. And the interface was far different from what he grew accustomed to all this time.
Wolfram stared at his interface with bulging eyes.
Hahahahahaah~
Was this what it means by age?
Subconsciously, he placed his hand over his heart, sighing from relief.
'Scared me there for a second.'
His newly improved interface had 3 primary Tabs; Personal Stats, Settlement Stats, and Finally Mission-&-Rewards.
That's right. A new tab called 'Settlement Stats' had appeared.
And shocked him out of his boots were the words beside the Tab.
< Stone Age! >
Everything now made sense.
This system was an Age Building System!
And based on all his gaming experience in his former life, did this mean that he would have to level up to the Tool Age and keep going higher?
This was incredible!
Wolfram felt it was all too surreal.
However, knowing how crazy this system was, he knew things wouldn't be so easy. Or else why would it have the highest death rate as a system?
Could it be that the missions it dished out were brutal?
Wolfram's joy once again quenched.
'Calm down. Calm down.' He told his anxious self.
Taking deep breaths, Wolfram decided to look at all icons from Personal Stats to Mission & Rewards.
He had to go through it all lest the system had hidden some deadly clause within them.
.

....
Awesome!
Wolfram felt everything he saw was too good!
First, he decided to open the Map.
And sure enough, it was all pitch black, except for the paths his people were standing or moving along.
The system had only begun making from when he officially accepted the system.
So their journey here was never taken into consideration.
Wolfram massaged his chin thoughtfully.
'It looks like I'll have to move around every nook and cranny to uncover the dark regions in the territory.'
Likewise, he would also have to let the men move about too.
This site was huge, and even the many forest regions they passed through had to get checked.
Speaking of his map, on the upper left-hand side were major quantitative showings of; [...Food-0, Wood-0, Gold-0, Stone-0, other minerals-0.]
Wolfram secretly took note of this.
As Settlement Leader, they had to have stockpiles of each at their disposal.
Leaving the upper left corner of the map, his gaze stayed at the upper right corner.
Chat?
There was a
There were many Tabs under this Chat icon for various topics.
Not bad.
With this, everyone could communicate as though they were online.
And though It was all through text, one didn't need to type things... They could speak, and it would be typed out and sent.
In Battle, this would be useful!
Apart from the Chat icon, there was the Diplomacy bottom too.
Clicking it would list the settlement's foes, friends, or alliances.
.
Alright.
Wolfram was impressed. But there was something else that confused him.
'System, does this mean that there's a chance that I can reach the age of industrialization and modern technology?'
[Pff~... Host, are you stupid?] The system chickens playfully.
[This is a magical world with Paladins, Mages, mythical beasts, and ascension in immortality.
So how can the laws of this world accept the sort of industrialization in your former world? Here, what you call physics and the laws binding your former world are nonexistent.
What keeps things grounded here is magic and world source, not what you call gravity.
Things stay in place because of these factors.
Thus, the modern age of Industrialization is completely out of the question!
This Daddy system is focused on the path of Magic and Ultimate Strength! Host, how can you be so stupid to think otherwise?]
Make sense.
For now, he didn't even bother about the system's blatant insults at him.
It's likely that he would enter a Mythical age later on.
But whether this Mythical age would be different from what he knew of was something he was more or less sure of.
For all he knew, there might be 20 or 30 Mythical Ages.
The Age of Gods!
He was just a mortal now and one who had been demoted from Village Heir to the leader of a Gathering.
A gathering was far less in status than a village.
Along the line, he knew he and the others would be sky hailers and maybe even more.
But for now, his journey has only begun.
.
[---->Main Missions:
-->Task 1: Name and title your Settlement. And it better not be anything stupid!
-->Task 2: You are now in the Stone Age—this age exemplifies the most basic beginning of kingdom building.
The survival of your village is in your hands.
Hunting and gathering will be your primary objective to keep your village well fed.
But bear in mind that your battle warfare is limited.
Thus, you must advance to the next age fast. This daddy system commands it!
Objectives:
1) To advance to the next Age;
•Let your settlement become a Village- Requires a minimum of 101 people staying in it.
•You must Gather 1000 Food in preparation for your next age.
•You must create at least 2 Major Buildings from the Building List.
•Excluding babies, all members of your gathering must have an occupation.
Allocate daily work quotas and side missions that they have to accomplish each day. From builders, good gatherers, etc... they all have to have jobs.
If not for this Daddy being an Ultimate Age Building System, it won't even bother saying this much.
•Again, you must train Clubmen to at least an 80% accuracy rate.
•And lately, you, the Leader, must at least have a 12/20 Mortal Strength level. How can the leader be so weak? 6/10?
Even the little girls and boys in your gathering are stronger than you. This day system is ashamed of you.
But oh well... This still works out as entertainment for this daddy. At this rate, won't this system see your blood soon?]
...
Shudder. Shudder.~
Wolfram felt a cold chill crawl up his spine.
He has to get stronger fast, or won't this crazy system's wish come true?
Wolfram had a hunch that if not that the system's innate purpose was Age building, it wouldn't bother giving him several tasks.
There was another side tab called: Side-Mission. But for now, it was empty.
All in all, the system's usual craze wasn't enough to stop his happiness.
At the bottom of The Mission Tab was the Reward Tab.
'I thought this beastly system said that I didn't have any starter-pack rewards?'
What a liar!
[Please, choose Main Settlement Center to enable all members access.
Note// Once Chosen, a Holy Light will descend from above like a comet.]
Awesome!
He was just thinking about how to explain his current possession of such things.
How and why can he make everyone see the map all of a sudden?
It would've been hard to explain and suspicious.
But now, his problem was solved.
Hehehehe...
Wolf smiled.
Good!
It was time to begin... Time to move through the Stone Age!
