"So, Beck. What happened between you and Emma?" He heard a girl ask, who leaned forward to his desk, smelling her cheap perfume.
He stared at her blankly, ignoring her question," You should mind others' business because I ain't wasting my breath to explain anything to you."
He saw her flushed in anger, Beck chuckled, "Okay?" Beck hates people like that. He goes by to pick their noses in his business without having a normal conversation with no problem with his dating life.
He goes back to his phone to see if he has practice today after school. "Oh no." He suddenly heard, and he glanced at the girl next to him. Alicia Scott. With her pale caramel skin, brown eyes, light brown long curls that she sometimes styles, her 5'5 "frame, and her shy personality. He doesn't know much about her, other than her artwork in the art hallway. Now that he sees her up close, she rarely talks to anyone.
He saw her trying to reach something from the floor. He followed down to see an eraser by his foot.
"I can get that for you," he told her, startling her, and she sat up quickly. She watched him pick up her eraser off the floor and place it on her desk. "There you go, "he told her, noticing she was avoiding looking at him.
"Thank you," she uttered under her breath but wasn't sure if he heard her. Making an effort not to scare her, he just nodded. The rest of the homeroom was just quiet and a bit of talking here and there till the bell rang.

Beck was deciding about what he could do with what had happened at the party back in July with Emma. Knowing she has been with other guys she has been dating before him, and now it's better to end the relationship between the two of them.
He had to find a good time to tell her without others around, but he knew everyone was going to know the news about their relationship regardless.
He sighed, plopping his face on the edge of his desk and looking down at the floor, overthinking what was in his mind with the situation he had with Emma. He had a long day to think this through. He just had to wait till homeroom was over.
