Sweat drip down his shirtless body, but his body just looks skinny and in need of food.
'Feel every detail.' He tried controlling his breath, but it felt painful. 'I remember doing this before,' He sat down, crossing his legs and closing his eyes. 'It's much easier to concentrate here than in a noisy city.'
He feels the oxygen enter his nose, 'carbon dioxide leave, hold in it. Wait for the oxygen to be converted to carbon dioxide, make sure my lungs can hold more carbon dioxide.'
He had been doing this for weeks, yet he couldn't feel much improvement.
'Am I doing something wrong?' He took out the book from the storage space. He opens it to see the same information. "Damn it!" He threw it into his storage space and went over to a rock near the river. "Damn it!" His patience running thin, closing his eyes, he punches the rock, expecting the pain to come, hoping it would distract him.
Nothing came.
He opens his eyes and sees a crack, his fist in the middle of it. The lines are uneven, but he felt surprised.
His mind spun, as he thought of many reasons.
'Demon slayer!?' He breathes in and focuses. Focusing on the carbon dioxide that his body won't accept. He focuses everything on his arm and felt a new energy.
'Energy can't be created nor destroyed. It can only be converted.' He lift his arm and punch forward, he could feel some kind of energy from the little gas convert into something surrounding his hand. It was small, but he is used to noticing small details.
'Interesting... I thought aura will be something related to energy in my body, but it is just the conversion in my body.. that's how mana is also used according to Urn...'
He put his hands on his waist, chest pump out and head held high.
"I am the chosen one! The main character! Haha!" He grins brightly, feeling proud of his achievement.
"Now, let's keep practising it." He breathes in and repeats what he did.
On the roof up high, a figure is watching. Wearing a cloak that seems to camouflage them to the surroundings.
'You are progressing much faster than I expected. Maybe I can push forward the plans, or should I watch you grow faster?' The hood covers their face, but it opens a little to show them sitting with a right leg up, right arm on it as they use their left hand to balance.
'Let my plans, be your bottle breaker.' He thought, "When the time is right, let's meet face to face." They stood up, the wind blew their cloak a little, showing his grey leather jacket, with another grey shirt inside, two swords by the waist.
As he heard, he look towards the roof.
'Is there something there? I thought for a moment I saw someone.'
'He is getting stronger, I can't stay any longer or it will spoil my plans.' They thought, looking at Lex again, 'What am I thinking? He's summoned because he is one of the most creative people in the previous world, he can probably think of one such theory.' He leaps off the other way and blends in with the crowd of people.
After a few weeks.
In Lex's room, he is laying on the hay with a big grin on his face, 'If I continue training like this, I would be as fit as the athletes in my previous world.' His eyes suddenly widen, "My previous world.." He searches through his memories, causing him to sit up straight. His smile seems frozen on his face as he tries to recall.
"I don't remember much of my own life." He mutters, "Only what I read, only my imagination..."
He rubs his head, and open the storage space. Only to see his dairy icon gone.
"What's my family name? What's my parent's name? Do I have a sibling??" He carefully searches again in his memories, "Do I remember anyone??"
Like a click, tears form at the corner of his eyes.
"I remember characters, mostly based on my friends.. some family members... I can guess who they are. I like to put clues in words I written, characters I created, right?" He asks himself, "The many characters I made..."
He walks out of the room to see the moon.
As the figure seems to be watching the moon while sitting on a border.
Both of them mutters
"The moon also represents a new beginning."
