"Where the heck are we?"
Amanda gawked at her surroundings. Everything here was so… clean. The air felt fresh and every time she inhaled she felt like her body was re-energized. The grass was incredibly green and vibrant while the dirt felt like she was stepping on little pillows. And the Qi! Oh my lord, the Qi! It was so clean and pure that Amanda almost thought she died and went to heaven. Not only that but it was so abundant! Amanda felt like she could send her entire clan here to cultivate without reserve and the amount of Qi here wouldn't go down.
She didn't even get a chance to look at everything else as just these things were enough to Amanda stand there, speechless. But even if she did look at the trees, bushes, plants, and even the grass in more detail she probably wouldn't be able to recognize any of them. In fact, she didn't even realize that her steps didn't even damage the grass in any way. Well, it'd be impossible for her to even pick up the grass, much less damage it. Actually, Amanda wouldn't even be able to pick up a handful of soil with her level of strength!
That's right! Everything in this place is an Immortal-tier item! But how would Amanda know that?
"This is my home! I made it for Little Ava."
Dante said with his head held high with pride.
Amanda almost cursed at Dante, but she was afraid that Dante might turn her into a dog if she continued cursing in front of Little Ava. She could only roll her eyes at his incredibly obvious statement.
"Obviously! Where else would we be, if not your home?! I want to know where this place is exactly and how did you make it?"
Dante thought for a few seconds before he ultimately decided to tell her.
"Hmmm… This is like that place your clan resides in except a little different. You could say that this space, world, realm, reality, dimension, whatever you want to call it does not exist in the Immortal Realm nor does it exist anywhere in the multiverse. Even time can't affect this place unless I want it to. This place solely belongs to me and Little Ava, but Little Ava isn't strong enough to enter and exit at will. As for how I made it… you wouldn't understand even if I told you."
Amanda didn't know what to say at this point as she was expecting something crazy, just not this crazy.
She caught a few clues like being able to control the flow of time at will and creating a Realm that doesn't technically exist within the current fabric of space-time… Doesn't this practically make Dante god? An omnipotent and omniscient god?
What the fuck??
No no no, such a thing is impossible! How could the universe allow someone as psychotic as Dante to be a god?! Where is the justice in the world?!
While Amanda was second guessing her existence, Dante had already dragged her to his cabin. He opened the door while holding Little Ava and dragging Amanda with the leash.
Dante just left the door open like usual since there isn't really a need to close it, but Amanda tried to close it on instinct, but realized the door wouldn't budge. It felt like she was trying to push a mountain! What the hell?!
"Ummm…Dante, what is this door made of?"
"Wood!"
Amanda felt a vein pop in her head.
"No sh-No, it's definitely not wood! I'd be able to close the freaking door if it was just made of wood!"
"Immortal Wood!"
"Immortal… Wood? What does that even mean?! Are you trying to tell me that a door is stronger than me!?"
"Not just the door. Everything in this world is stronger than you. Also, let me give you a tip. You probably shouldn't try to cause damage to anything. It would be a pain if you were to die from the backlash."
Dante said nonchalantly as he sat on a chair while cradling the now sleeping Little Ava. So much for making all those cribs for Little Ava to sleep in…
When Amanda heard Dante, she immediately freaked out and backed away from the door with a fearful expression. The way she looked at the house slowly started to change and she soon became somewhat terrified to even be in this world.
Couldn't she accidentally die just by punching the grass too hard if that was the case? She felt like Dante was truly a devil for bringing her to a place that she's too afraid to even walk in!
"Couldn't you have made this place… I don't know, a little more accessible to mortals? How am I supposed to do anything?!"
"Hmph! How can I let Little Ava touch mortal items?! She'll get tainted just by looking at them! And it's not that everything here is too strong, you're just too weak! You don't see me having trouble opening and closing the door! Also, this wouldn't be much of a punishment if you could just do whatever you want! Now, go make me a cup of tea, little fox! Remember, you are my slave until I say otherwise!"
Dante scoffed without even looking at her. He really felt like this woman was too unreasonable and shameless. He invites her to his home and the first thing she does is complain?! Insolent!
Amanda just stared at Dante not knowing what to say. Why must this man be so insufferable?!
"And how do you want me to make your tea… Master? I can't even pick up the dirt outside, much less open the doors."
Amanda grinded her teeth while saying that. She wished she could throw this man in a fiery pit of lava for humiliating her like this, but unfortunately there was nothing she could do.
Dante didn't say anything and just snapped his fingers. Soon, energy coated the entire house both inside and out.
"Now you can open the doors."
Amanda just nodded and walked to what she presumed to be the kitchen. She didn't want to talk to Dante anymore so she didn't ask him where exactly it was, but it wasn't too difficult to figure out. The cabin isn't that big after all.
However, when she walked up to the door and tried to open it, she noticed that it still didn't budge.
"The door still won't open even after what you did… Master."
"Oh yeah. It'll take you exactly 10 minutes of using your full strength to open the doors in the house. If you don't use your full strength for even a second, your progress will reset! Hahaha! Isn't that a great punishment?"
Amanda didn't say anything and could only grit her teeth and curse this accursed man in her mind until she finally opened this damn door!
'This is going to be a long punishment…'
