Chereads / My Dad Is An Immortal Virgin / Chapter 9 - Preparing For The Baby

Chapter 9 - Preparing For The Baby

Dante immediately got to work after creating the egg. He had tons of things to prepare!

A separate dimension with the sole purpose of raising a child.

Houses all over the Immortal Realm!

Baby toys!

Cribs!

A source of food and most importantly… Milk!

Although Dante could force his nipples to lactate… Fuck no! If he did that, he might as well give himself a womb and birth the baby from there!

Anyways, back to the list of things he needs to do… well, that's all he can think of for now! Ahaha.

But can you really blame him?? He's spent his entire life focused on reaching perfection in everything regarding one's individual prowess. That includes the professions that cultivators take up as well.

This, however, does not include babies! Why the fuck should he care about babies?! Hell, he's probably killed an innumerable amount of newborn babies throughout his life. Most of the time that wasn't on purpose though. He was trying to kill everyone else, but who told babies to be so weak and die just from his presence and aura alone??

It's not like it mattered anyway. Actually, Dante still would've killed a baby if it was the child of one of his enemies.

Most people called him a monster for such vile acts, but Dante never understood what these people meant. How is killing a baby worse than killing an adult or a beast?

People would always tell him that babies are pure and untainted by the cruelties of the world.

But you know what Dante would say to these people?

"Well, they are just going to have to experience the cruelties of the world a bit sooner than others!"

As the saying goes, 'The sins of the parents fall onto the children'. If Dante deemed a family his enemy, that doesn't mean he's picking and choosing a few people in their family to kill. No! He's wiping out their entire bloodline!

But in all honesty, Dante prefers not killing children since it does leave a bad taste in his mouth.

Luckily, he's strong enough now to prevent anyone from killing his child even if he is on the other side of the Realm!

Speaking of Realm, Dante just applied the finishing touches to the separate dimension he created for his daughter!

It's the same space that Dante created to house all of his minerals, trees, herbs, plants, and everything else, but now it's a bit more 'kid friendly' and farmlike.

He made sure that nothing there would be able to hurt his daughter since everything in this separate dimension is Immortal-tier!

He also made his cabin a bit cozier and added a room for the baby to stay in.

He also brought a bunch of animals and beasts into this space to make it a bit more lively. There are several fonds and lakes in this space for fishing. Mountains to go hiking. Forests to go exploring and other places to go hunting.

There are also baby toys everywhere! Dante wasn't sure what babies do for fun so he just did what any sensible Dad would do!

He created a metric fuck ton of stuffed animals! There are also some building blocks and quite a few things that make a bunch of noise.

It could be said that Dante's knowledge about newborn babies is nil. The only thing he remembers people saying is that babies were tiring and noisy.

If babies wanted to be noisy then fine, so be it! He'll let his daughter be noisy!

Dante also created games like chess and a few other high-level strategy games. Just in case his daughter gets bored!

Next were the baby clothes that he made… And to be honest, Dante might've gone a bit overboard with the clothes.

All of the clothes were made from Immortal-tier materials. Immortal-tier Silk, Immortal-tier Cotton, Immortal-tier wool, and more. He also used some of his Immortal-tier ores and infused them into the clothes.

Even the dye he used was Immortal-tier!

But Dante didn't think much of this since whether it was Mortal-Tier or Immortal-tier, it made no difference to him. A single strand of his hair was worth more than any Immortal-Tier item.

Thinking that way, Dante also made a special outfit for his daughter using only his hair! It was a black dress with silver embroidery and the image of a 9-tailed fox was put on the back and a Phoenix on the front. The reason he put a 9-tailed fox on the back was that his favorite beast of the mythical beast genre is a 9-tailed fox.

A Phoenix comes in second while he doesn't really care much about the rest. For some reason, everyone loves Dragons but Dante just can't understand where they're coming from. To him, Dragons are nothing but a bunch of stinky old men who think way too highly of themselves.

Whereas Foxes and Phoenix's are beautiful women who are soft, fluffy, and actually decent people to be around. At the very least, Dante doesn't feel like he's talking to a brick wall if he ever talks with them.

That's the reason Dante put those two beasts on the dress made out of his hair.

Of course, his first choice was to put his perfect and majestic face on the dress since there is nothing better than himself, but Dante understood that his daughter might never wear this dress if he does that! How could Dante let such blasphemy happen?! So, reluctantly he embroidered what he thought was the next best thing.

Another thing to note with the clothes is that not only are they basically invincible in the entire Immortal Realm, but they are stain proof, waterproof, dirt proof, and anything else proof! He'll never have to do laundry with these clothes around! Mwuahaha!

With that out of the way, Dante left this separate dimension and started his travel all over the Immortal Realm!

He was going to build houses in every place he thought might be interesting for a child. He'd buy a house in major cities or Capital cities.

He'll make a house in interesting-looking mountains, near oceans, maybe a little hut somewhere in a forest, and wherever else he found interesting!

Then he'll link all of these locations back to his separate dimension just in case he forgets about them.

Well, it's not like he'll actually forget since that's basically impossible, but it's just to him these places are rather insignificant and will probably be the last thing Dante thinks about. Linking portals to his separate dimension is just a way for him to remind him that he has other places.

All of this only took him a few months to complete and now all he has to do is wait. Wait for his precious daughter to hatch!
