Chapter 2 - 2011

Confused by the sight in front of him. A scene of clear skies and sandy beaches. The slight salty scent of the ocean washes over him.

"Ah so this must be heaven" He closed his eyes again and lay on the rattan chair under the umbrella which just big enough to cover his upper torso with his lower body exposed to the searing heat of the sun.

As he turned his body to the side he felt the chaffing of his legs against the sandy rattan chair which caused him to wince in pain.

"Tsssss* that stings!"

The pain seems to finally rouse him from his stupor that this was no longer the cold hospital bed where he spent the last remaining days of his life. Due to a major world pandemic outbreak, Bai Tian was only of the unlucky people that did not survive the virus due to his already immunocompromised body. He recalled the cold hospital room packed like sardines, with others just like him that caught the virus. Just like the rest of the patients in the ward, they were fully aware what was instore for them when they were admitted into the hospital.

In light of their impending fate, Al who seemed to have a bit of his facial color recover after his therapy session challenged everyone to Stoke everyone's fighting spirit.

cough* cough*

"What are you sorry asses looking so down for!"

As he smacked his pudgy belly he challenged.

"If this lord piggy can fight through this you sorry fellas certainly can! Hahahahahaha"

Cough* Cough*

However even with his little pep talk everyone including Al knew that they didnt have long left to live.

Bo who was the most rational of the lot suggested that they write a letter to their loves ones as their final will. Due to the pandemic, hospital patient in order to isolate the contagious.

In the end all of the patients in that room passed away, and freed up space for more people suffering from the pantemic.

well, back to our current predicament. Jo who was looking around, found it strange that this scene looks awefully similar to the Carribean resort he visited shortly after his highschool graduation.
