After some months, Anthiny had improved a lot. He was not so skinny, for he was eating again. Benjamin, who had been dealing with their homework on his own, finally was having Anthony's help.
"Thank you, Ben." He said. "Without you, I'd probably have lost this period."
"No need to thank me, my friend." Benjamin said. "That's what friends are for."
Things were finally getting back into place. Fanny and Benjamin were ready to get married. As soon as Benjamin got back to London, they would marry. Anthony was his best man.
Benjamin would not talk about Dorothea or any other woman to Anthony. He didn't agree with the 'find another love to forget the last one'. That was unfair. Unfair to both parts. In a way, they were both being deceived,, the difference was that one had no say in it, no choice.
