Michael got on his horse, all dirty, and rode home. He was not into waiting for anyone. He just wanted to get home and make sure his mother was ok. He knew Louisa was worrying, as well, so, it would be for the best if he arrived home as soon as possible.
Louisa was freaking out with all the wait. She was praying that everything worked out just fine and Emmeline was safe.
When she heard the horse winning outside, she ran to the front door and saw Michael and Emmeline. She ran to them. Michael got off the horse and Louisa was already there to help with Emmeline.
"Oh, God! Aunt!" She said and helped to get the woman inside. Emmeline was a mess.
Once inside, Louisa asked Randolf to bring tea and brandy.
"I'll see to it, Your Highness!" He said in a hurry.
