Main characters are those people who live in a world where everything is resolved around them. They will fail on their first episode before suddenly becoming the most powerful person in the end. People who will get everything they want just with their talent or just with determination and what it is called as the protagonist plot armour.
Just like the two boys in front of me right now. I could see that the tangerine will be something big in the future, he has the determination and the aura of a story protagonist. While the blueberry head who is my teammate will be like his fated rival who is talented but scorned by everyone.
It's just a wild imagination of mine guys, not like it will actually happen.
I hum to ease my boredom when finally the competition end with our team winning, well 'their' team winning. I'm not a part of their team, when I should have been, so it's their group not mine. I watched the team come back to the side without that much celebration.
I know what blueberry's head was thinking 'this is too easy so no need for any celebration' but I could tell that maybe blueberry was interested in tangerine because of the stunt he did at the last minute.
I'll say that tangerine could jump high and he has quite a speed, but tangerine doesn't have talent to back it up. Maybe if he is like blueberry then he could become that overpowered main character.
I shook my head once again when I began to daydream. I grab the bottle and towel on the bench as I give it one by one to the team. The only ones who said thank you to me were turnip and sloth-kun while blueberry just gave me a nod.
I just shrug it off before turning back and clean up all the things so we all could go back early. Heh, not a manager but have to act like their manager. I hate them all.
I stare at the blueberry who was taken away from the field. Blueberry seems to be in shock. Karma I guess? but those people don't need to do it like that. Embarrassing him in front of hundreds of people like that was a low move.
I just gave blueberry my share of milk I bought on the vending machine. Blueberry looked at my hand and the milk before grabbing it hesitantly
"T-thay....Thanks"
I raised my eyebrow before shrugging it off.
I still hate them though, what's the point of having me here if they won't even let me play in a court for my entire life. At least the badminton club allowed me to follow the competition.
Why didn't I quit? My mom won't allow that to happen. I don't know why, I guess she was just obsessed with me joining the club like my deceased father even though I never even played. I still train on my own because my mom won't let me go without the 4 hours of volleyball training.
Well at the end of the day, I'm still the side character whose background life is not important and living my life surrounded by those talented people that buried me in their shadow.
