There we were, a stalemate. The 'aunt' stood between us and the children who were all beaten black and blue. It was an almost gory sight. I wanted to jump in and save them, but this would mean me exposing my powers. And even though this is family, some secrets are better being that way, secret. I felt at a loss of what to do, and just as I was about to give in and fight, Daire moved forward.
"Hehe, those are our little siblings. Do you think that we would stand around and let you bully them? Think again!" He yelled at her with a flame of rage dancing in his eyes.
Immediately, Chaz and the rest started their attack. Emily and her gang also joined making me shocked. Me, Abe and grandpa let them play. What was baffling was that despite their numbers and attack power, 'aunt' didn't look disadvantaged. They looked as though they were playing into her palms!
"What is going on here?" I thought as I found it rather strange that over seven people couldn't beat her!
