With an eerie silence going through the room, we all looked to aunt Mandy, waiting for her answer. Seconds ticked by without anyone doing anything along with the the palpitating atmosphere, it was kind of mind boggling.
"Why scream wait if you're not gonna say anything?!" I thought really angry at the sudden turn of events. These seniors can really put you on edge. I feel like I have aged a few years in one day. Sigh, when can we go back to our coperate lives? Fighting off intruders reminds of a certain time when my life was always on the go. Sigh, how far I have come!
"Oh, you're all waiting on me to speak?" She asked in a rather cheery way, as though it were a party and not a fight.
