What's that beeping sound?"Before I clear your doubts, I want to know and don't hide anything. Does Fleur have animosity with any of you? Did any of you do something to her to trigger her breakdown?" Oh right I must be in the hospital,whose voice is that and why does it sound familiar? Whatever, I'll just sleep for now and wake up later. Ugh,sleep is so elusive. EARLIER
"Dr.Wright, there's a patient who has been brought in a VIP room. She has been around for a few days but now but she is dormant. Possible mental breakdown."
I'm so tired, but I feel that I should help this person. Reminds me a lot of her. Those days. "What's the name of the patient? I might just check on them."
"A Fleur Hales."

"Dr.Wright, are you alright? If you're tired, we could get some else to ca....."
"Nope, it's alright. Room number?"
"VIP number 304."How come she's here? I thought, I didn't expect it. Why is she here? And she has been around for some days. I hope she's alright. I trudged to her room and hesitantly opened the door with my head down. I looked up and what I saw was shocking! Since we were young, Fleur always avoided strangers. Even when we had just met, she avoided me. Until that one day.....
A brunette was wiping Fleur while the rest made sure she was comfortable and had all that she needed which wasn't much."Excuse me, doctor? How is Fleur?" asked the brunette. I had somehow managed to walk to Fleur's bedside and was checking her vitals.
" Well, she's bruised badly and a few hair line fractures. But she will be ok. "What happened to her? I had to ask. Fleur was kind of omnipotent where we came from so seeing her beat up was shocking. "We don't know. She just appeared at the office looking like this and had a small episode a few days ago. After that, she blacked out." Strange. She has never had an episode without a trigger. I'm starting to question their identities.
"Did she got walk in the rain?"
"Yes, that's when she had an episode and also when we brought her to the hospital."
"Hmmm, that explains her fever. And if I might ask, who are you guys?"
"We are her workmates." answered the blonde guy. Of course they are.
"Alright. I need all of you to leave so that she can rest peaceful." I saw them frown. Yeah, they should know their limits.
"Shouldn't one of us stay and care for her?" asked the red head.
"We have attendants for that so it's ok. And besides, I alone can take of her just fine."
OUTSIDE
"Who does he think he is?" I fumed.
"A doctor,Brax."answered Jade in sarcastic tone. Yeah,she's the rogue of the flock.
"Do you think he knows her? He looked like he really did?" Oh, Emily's all sad now. She's the happy pill of the group and she really cared for Fleur. Over the short time we have known Fleur, Emily got her the most. Fleur is social phobic so Emily would all possible to make her comfortable. She had actually started to like the atmosphere at work. "Maybe we should tell Abe. "added Alec. That came as a surprise given his history with Lucy but he is right. Fergus called Abe and we waited to see if things could turn around.
SHORTLY AFTER
What's going on? Who is this doctor staking claims on my employee and team mate and possible love interest. (ahem ahem not the time for such thoughts. don't you think Abe?) I found the entire team out in the hall waiting. These really liked Fleur huh? They explained everything that had happened. Who the hell foes he think he is? That doctor is on my nerve. I barged in to the room.
"Mr.Edwards this is a hospital not your office."
"For your information, I own this hospital. "
"More reason for you to act reasonably."
I was getting really pissed with his self righteous tone. My final thread snapped when I saw him holding her hand. I rushed forward and yanked her hand out of his but the strangest thing happened. Fleur started to convulse. What? Coincidence? Maybe, but very strange. I was still stuck in a trance when I had the doctor's scream for me to let go of her hand. Like it were hot iron, I hastily let her hand go like it were a piece of coal. Emily rushed in to help the doctor hold Lucy down. It was like she was having a siezure.
We silently watched as the doctor and Emily helped Fleur until she stopped quaking. With a trembling voice, Brax asked, "Doc, what's wrong with our friend?" I wanted to know as well. How could a mere fainting cause all of this. Something was off. I heard the doctor curse and swear when he opened his mouth and said.
"Before I clear your doubts, I want to know and don't hide anything. Does Fleur have animosity with any of you? Did any of you do something to her to trigger her breakdown? Mr.Edwards,why did she react this way towards you? She only does that towards three types of people;people she doesn't like, people who don't like her or people who have caused her mental scars. So, what did you do Mr. Edwards?"
This is an uncomfortable feeling. Why do I feel hurt that he knows her better? Such complex emotions! "Dr.Wright, let me also ask some questions. Why did you throw out her work mates? What is your relationship with Ms.Hales? How do you know her? What happened to her just now? How could you control it? I need answers!"
