Mexico was doing things to Lucifer, things he didn't like. Since the universe had decided to punish him, he decided to roll with his feelings. He just lay there with memories and feelings he thought he had done away with.
Soon enough, he had exhausted all his memories and his body seemed to allow him rest so he took it without a second thought.
Lucifer took one last look at his dark room with only the lights from his bathroom illuminating the room and he slept off, getting ready for tomorrow.
