He grabbed a chair and ordered his own glass. The men didn't stop because of him; they seemed to welcome him to their table. He joined them in their pointless conversations then started chipping in his questions.
The men didn't make it obvious that they weren't going to answer his questions but Lucifer soon got the hint that he wasn't getting any answers anytime soon.
He thanked the men for their time and company and went over to the next table. Like the previous table, the men weren't giving him any answers. He went table by table but no answers, not even the bar girl wouldn't give him what he wanted.
Lucifer was beginning to get frustrated. He didn't see how he was going to get all that he had to do in a week if the people didn't talk to him.
He didn't blame them though, if he were in their shoes, he wouldn't spill details of his town to a complete stranger that just popped up from nowhere.
