Celeste will be noticed holding her phone, while someone is calling on the other line, but it has also been a while since she has but still no one answers her call. She let out a deep breath as she called again and hoped her son would answer it.
When she got tired of calling, she immediately shed a series of tears, because Brandon hadn't felt well for several weeks and hadn't come home, he was very worried. He no longer knew what he was going to do because he had no idea how to talk to Brandon and where he was going. Her son is Brandon but she feels there is too much distance between the two of them, and she no longer knows what she is going to do.
The only thing on her mind in these moments were the last moments she had with him.
