It was midnight and Adam and Samantha had just gotten ready for their night watch having been woken up by the previous watch. Though before they went on watch Adam had his dad debrief him on what happened during his watch.
"So far it seems that they are trustworthy I haven't noticed anything too bizarre from them." Adam's dad said.
"Alright, just make sure to keep one I open." Adam said.
Ryan nodded at Adam and with that they went off one to bed and the other a night he would never forget.

Adam and Sam were at the front of the house looking out at the driveway to make sure no zombie were coming. When they saw a bright light right as the clock hit 12:00 am, they alongside the rest of the world's population passed out.
While everyone was knocked out the world for the second time that week went through another monumental change.
Blue streams of what one could only call pure energy was flowing through the air and into everything around be it the fauna and flora, the undead, the ground itself, and even the people around.
As this energy flew about it caused changes wherever it went. This energy which in most fantasy's is labeled as mana or arcane energy was transforming the biosphere as we know it.
The ground that of which was barren not even a minute ago was no lush with greenery not native to our planet glowing a dull blue. While even greater changes were happening to the fauna.
A snake in the Amazon grew to be 40 feet long and 6 feet wide.
While an ape in the Congo grew 16 feet tall and gained a metallic sheen.
Then a spider and Australia grew to be 3 feet wide. Though this wasn't do to the mana it's just a regular spider. Another one in Australia though did grew to be 6 feet wide due to the mana.
The animals were not the only ones changing the people were too. Though they were changing in a different way, in many years to come they would question as to why they changed differently then the animals and their research would never come to fruition though they had theories.
In London there was a man laying in his bed named Arthur was shining while other only had a dim glow.
A woman in Shanghai had a red glow in contrast to everyone else whom had a blue glow.
A man in New York in the Empire State Building was glowing blue like everyone else however he was also crackling with lighting.
Our main character was glowing a royal purple while the rest of his team were just glowing a dull blue.

Adam's house
Some of the group were more lucky in that when they got knocked out they were already laying down or even sleeping. While Sam and Adam were unfortunate in that they were standing. Leading to our current situation.
"Uhhhh, what happened" Adam groaned still not fully aware of the 130 lb girl on top of him.
"Should we do something?" Ethan asked
"I don't know" Tyler responded
"I'm gonna say something" said Ryan
"Cough cough, Adam whatcha doing."Ryan said
Adam finally woke up fully and noticed everyone gathered around him and wondered as to why. That is till he looked down at his chest and saw Sam snoring, while gripping him tightly not unlike a koala.
"What happened" Adam asked confused as to how he got in this misleading position.
"We were hoping you knew" said Crystal
Just as Adam was about to answer a blue screen popped up in his view.
"What the hell is this" said Tyler wondering what the screen in front of him was.
No one replied to him as they were busy trying to figure out what the screen was.

They sat in the living room to learn what they they could about their screens so they could compare later. After some time they went and drew a sketch of what their status looked like.

They decided not to reveal their status because the group didn't trust each other enough with information that could get them killed.
That was until Kevin asked out loud "What if we only share the basic skills and stats that way if we have a unique skill then we will be able to keep it secret as a trump card?"
They all agreed with that as the reason they wanted to keep their status secret was too not leave themselves vulnerable in case one of them betray the group. With this it isn't that big of a deal for their basic stats and skills would be easy to figure out.
So without further ado they shared their stats and figured out the base line. The average person had a stat of 10 with some being lower like Kevin had a low STR stat but a high INT in comparison to Tyler and Eathan who were the opposite. Samantha and Krystal had a higher AG and DEX when compared to the guys but lower STR and END. No one was below and 7 or above a 13 in any one stat. Except for Adam though he didn't reveal that and went with being a little above the average.
